By train and bus

From Winterthur
Reinhart am Stadtgarten: Bus 1, 3, 5 or 10 until Schmidgasse
Beim Stadthaus: Bus 1, 3, 10 or 14 until Stadthaus
Villa Flora: Bus 2 direction Seen until Gewerbeschule

From Zurich
Via the S12 from Zurich Central Station and from Zurich-Stadelhofen every half-hour. Further trains commute from the central station in quarter-hour intervals.

From Zurich Airport
Various trains to Winterthur in quarter-hour intervals.

By car

From Zurich leave the motorway at the exit Töss. From St. Gall take the exit Ohringen and drive to the city centre. Signs indicate directions to the individual locations.

National Holidays

The museum will be open on St. Berchtold’s Day (2 January), Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, 1st May, the Ascension Days as well as Whit Sunday and Whit Monday, 1st of August, Christmas Eve (24 December) and New Year’s Eve (31 December).

The museum remains closed on New Year (1.1.), Good Friday, Winterthurs «Fasnacht» Monday (19.2.2024)  and on Christmas (25.12.). During the «Albanifest» (Friday 28.6. till Sunday 30.6.2024) the Kunst Museum Winterthur | Beim Stadthaus will remain closed, the Villa Flora will be open.
